About the band:
The name "Skore" was inspired on Beavis & Butt-Head, the classic cartoon show broadcasted by MTV. There were moments when Beavis would say "I wanna score". The band members liked this line, so they decided to name the band after it, replacing the c for a k.
Skore was formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2000 with a complete different set of members. In 2006 they released their first EP, with four songs, and after that the members started to quit the band, one by one, being Castilho (guitarrist) the only member left. He didn't want to give up the band since their first EP's reviews were good.
That's when the guitarrist decided to invite some of his friends - who had also quit their previous bands - to join Skore's team. Soon after that, the boys started to take the job seriously.
From 2006 to 2008, they made a huge change on their setlist, and started to write brand new songs, record their CD and finally play some shows.
