About the band:
Five years ago, two kids, Viny and Ruan, threw themselves in the underground musical scene, each one with their own projects. After crossing paths several times and long online chats, they became great friends. Their biggest project started in December 2008, when Ruan invited Viny to record some of his compositions on his home studio, but it didn't go as they expected. They started working on new melodies and came up with a brand new material which finally pleased their ears, as well as the ones of those who had listened to it.
Their original plan was to release this material in English, just for fun. However, in 2009, they were invited to officially join the musical industry, so they invited two other friends, Lucas Parada to play the drums, and Lucas Bob to play the bass.
Under the influence of several musicians, from Hip Hop to Pop, and several powerpop American bands, Poppin' was born.
